Secondhand

Selling? Give your books a second life!

Do you want to give your old textbooks a new home and earn some extra money? Simply hand in your first-semester books on the collection day, September 25, 2025. When handing in your books, you’ll fill out a form and receive a receipt. Once your book is sold, you’ll get an email from us. Selling second-hand books has never been this easy and worry-free!

By taking part in the second-hand book sale, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

  1. Book Collection – The Association collects the courses and books provided by the Owner.
  2. Receipt Confirmation – Upon delivery, the Owner will receive confirmation of the submitted items.
  3. Sales Period – Items will be offered for sale online until week 10 of the current semester.
  4. Sales Price – A commission of 10% will be added on top of the price set by the Owner. This commission goes to the Association.
  5. Sales and Payment – If an item is sold, the Owner will receive the sales proceeds (excluding the commission).
  6. Unsold Items – Unsold items can be retrieved free of charge until week 3 of the following semester. After that, they will be discarded.
  7. Loss or Damage – If an item is lost or damaged during the sales period while in the possession of the Association, the Association will reimburse the Owner for the full value set by the Owner.

! Only books from the current semester and included in the CuDi catalogue will be accepted !

Missed the collection day? No worries! You can still hand in your books during CuDi opening hours. In the second semester, a new collection day will be organized for second-semester books.

Buying? It's sustainable and affordable!

At the course service, you can easily purchase second-hand books. On our website, you'll find an option to view available second-hand copies right next to the books required for your courses. Here, you'll also find details about the condition of each book, so you always know what you're getting. You can then reserve the second-hand book just like you would with a new one.
